The Court of Arbitration for Sport (hereinafter referred to as “CAS”) Shanghai Alternative Hearing Centre (hereinafter referred to as “Shanghai Hearing Centre”) was signed by the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS) and Shanghai Sports Bureau on December 14th, 2011, approved by Shanghai Administration Bureau of NGOs, and formally established on November 12th, 2012.
Shanghai Hearing Centre is the first Hearing Centre of CAS in the world.
Main goals of Shanghai hearing Centre of CAS include: (1) To undertake hearings on CAS cases; (2) To provide consultation on sports disputes; (3) To held seminars and training of international and domestic sports arbitration; (4) To promote of international sports arbitration; (5) Other works related to sports disputes resolution.
